MAANULTH FIRST NATIONS FINAL AGREEMENT ACT

Order Fixing April 1, 2011 as the Date of the Coming into Force of Certain Sections of the Act

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to section 25 of the Maanulth First Nations Final Agreement Act, chapter 18 of the Statutes of Canada, 2009, hereby fixes April 1, 2011 as the day on which that Act, other than sections 10, 11 and 18, comes into force.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order.)

The Order fixes April 1, 2011 as the day on which the Maanulth First Nations Final Agreement Act (the “Act”) comes into force, other than sections 10 and 11 which will come into force on a date to be fixed by a separate order and section 18 which came into force on Royal Assent. The Act gives effect to the Maa-nulth First Nations Final Agreement. It also makes consequential amendments to other Acts.
