LETTERS PATENT OF CONTINUANCE

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 34(1) of the Bank Act (Canada) that B2B Trust, a body corporate governed by the Trust and Loan Companies Act (Canada) and a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank of Canada, intends to file with the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, on or after July 21, 2010, an application for the Minister of Finance to issue letters patent continuing B2B Trust as a bank, under the name B2B Bank, to carry on banking activities in Canada. Its head office will be located in Toronto, Ontario.

Any person who objects to the proposed continuation may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before July 20, 2010.

Note: The publication of this Notice should not be construed as evidence that letters patent will be issued to continue the body corporate as a bank. The Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours Branch, hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein.
