This day at four fifty-five in the afternoon, the Honourable Thomas Albert Cromwell, in his capacity as Deputy of Her Excellency the Governor General, proceeded to the Chamber of the Senate, in the Parliament Buildings, and took his seat at the foot of the Throne. The Members of the Senate being assembled, the Deputy of Her Excellency the Governor General was pleased to command the attendance of the House of Commons, and that House being present, the following Bills were assented to in Her Majesty’s name by the Deputy of Her Excellency the Governor General:
