ALITALIA LINEE AEREE ITALIANE S.P.A.

TOTAL WIND UP OF THE DEFINED BENEFIT PLAN

This notice is given by the Replacement Administrator of the Pension Plan for the Employees of Alitalia Linee Aeree Italiane S.P.A. (the “Plan”) pursuant to subsection 29.1(5) of the Pension Benefits Standards Act, 1985.

The pension Plan for the employees of Alitalia Linee Aeree Italiane S.P.A. was established on April 1, 1981. The Plan was wound up as at December 31, 2008, following the decision made by Alitalia Linee Aeree Italiane S.P.A. (the “Company”). The Company went into bankruptcy on January 12, 2009. On March 3, 2009, Thompson Tomev Actuarial, 87 Wolverleigh Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario M4J 1R8, was appointed by the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions as the Replacement Administrator of the Plan to wind up the Plan. Thompson Tomev Actuarial has corresponded by sending a notice of the Plan termination to all former members and prepared a Wind-Up Valuation Report as at December 31, 2008. The Superintendent has approved the Plan’s wind-up report on October 6, 2009. We have proceeded with the distribution of assets in accordance with the report. Should additional funds be awarded following the closure of the Alitalia estate pursuant with our claim for unremitted Company contributions to the pension fund, we will proceed with a second distribution of assets.

The Corporation of the City of Kenora hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Corporation of the City of Kenora has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of Kenora, at 220 Main Street S, Kenora, Ontario, under deposit No. R33413, a description of the site and plans for the proposed pedestrian bridge over Mink Bay Creek, at Mink Bay, in front of Lot 200, Parcel 217, Keewatin.

Comments may be directed to the Superintendent, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, 100 Front Street S, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 2M4. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing, are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of this notice and are related to the effects of this work on marine navigation. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours Branch, hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours Branch (DFO SCH), has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and at the town office in St. Lunaire—Griquet, Newfoundland and Labrador, in the federal electoral district of Humber—St. Barbe—Baie Verte, under deposit No. 8200-02-1410, a description of the site and plans for the proposed harbour improvements, including the extension of an existing finger pier wharf by approximately 42 m, the extension of an existing marginal wharf by approximately 36 m, the marine dredging of approximately 7 100 m3 of material, and site infilling and development to be located at the DFO SCH St. Lunaire facilities, in the town of St. Lunaire—Griquet, Northern Peninsula, Newfoundland and Labrador, at coordinates 51°29′58″ N and 55°28′21″ W.
