The Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Newfoundland and Labrador hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Newfoundland and Labrador has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the Hermitage town office of the electoral district of Fortune Bay—Cape La Hune, under deposit No. 8200 09 1210, a description of the site and plans for the proposed aquaculture inflow wharf and storage area in Hermitage Bay, at the east side of Hermitage Cove along Harbourview Road.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navi-gation may be directed to the Superintendent, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, P.O. Box 1300, St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador A1C 6H8. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of this notice. The Grand River Conservation Authority hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Grand River Conservation Authority has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, at 30 Duke Street W, Kitchener, Ontario, under deposit No. R1583553, a description of the site and plans of a safety boom and an existing dam (New Dundee Dam) across Alder Creek at New Dundee, Ontario, near Main Street.

Comments may be directed to the Superintendent, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, 100 Front Street S, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 2M4.
