Order Transferring from the Minister of Transport to the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development the Powers, Duties and Functions in the Administration of the ecoAUTO Rebate Program

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) (see footnote a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, hereby transfers from the Minister of Transport to the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development the powers, duties and functions in the administration of the ecoAUTO Rebate Program relating to the processing of individual applications for the rebate, including the verification of supporting documentation associated with those applications, and the making of recommendations to the Minister of Transport on the applicants' eligibility for the rebate Program.
