MINISTRIES AND MINISTERS OF STATE ACT
Order Terminating the Assignment of the Honourable Mauril Bélanger and Assigning the Honourable Mauril Bélanger to Assist the Prime Minister, the Minister of National Defence and the Minister of Industry

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 11 of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act, hereby
(a) terminates the assignment of the Honourable Mauril Bélanger, made by Order in Council P.C. 2004-842 of July 20, 2004 (see footnote a); and
(b) assigns the Honourable Mauril Bélanger, a Minister of State to be styled Minister for Internal Trade, Deputy Leader of the Government in the House of Commons and Minister responsible for Official Languages, to assist
(ii) the Minister of National Defence in the carrying out of that Minister's responsibilities, and
(iii) the Minister of Industry in the carrying out of that Minister's responsibilities.
