FARM DEBT MEDIATION ACT

Order Fixing April 1, 1998 as the Date of the Coming into Force of the Act

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, pursuant to section 36 of the Farm Debt Mediation Act, assented to on April 25, 1997, being Chapter 21 of the Statutes of Canada, 1997, hereby fixes April 1, 1998 as the date on which that Act shall come into force.
