CANADA ELECTIONS ACT

Compliance Agreement

This notice is published by the Commissioner of Canada Elections, pursuant to section 521 of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9.

On September 6, 2002, the Commissioner of Canada Elections entered into a compliance agreement with Malcolm Montgomery, of the city of Pembroke, Ontario, Canada, pursuant to section 517 of the Canada Elections Act.

In this agreement, Malcolm Montgomery recognizes having composed and causing to be published an advertisement and did not provide the information mentioned in section 326 of the Act, pertaining to election survey methodology.

In summary, the agreement required Malcolm Montgomery to:

— recognize the importance of compliance with the Act; and

— undertake to observe the requirements of the Act.
