Issuance of Exploration Licences
As required by subsection 62(4) of the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation Act, S.C. 1988, c. 28, and subsection 65(4) of the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act, S.N.S. 1987, c. 3, notice is hereby given that the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board has issued exploration licences 2406 to 2414 inclusive as a result of Call For Bids No. NS01-1. The effective date of these nine licences is January 1, 2002.
A summary of the terms and conditions of all relevant licences was previously published in the Canada Gazette and in the Royal Gazette (Nova Scotia), as part of the notices of Call For Bids No. NS01-1. The full text of the call for bids and copies of the exploration licences are available from the Board on request.

INQUIRY
EDP Hardware and Software
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) has received a complaint (File No. PR-2001-046) from EDUCOM TS Inc., of Ottawa, Ontario, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. 46577-024485/A) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services on behalf of the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency. The solicitation is for the supply of an archiving tool for the Corporate Administrative System and, as options, additional archiving tools, an imaging solution and hardware. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal has decided to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.
It is alleged that the mandatory requirements of the procurement are too restrictive.
