RECOMMENCEMENT OF INQUIRY
Information Processing and Related Telecommunications Services
Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) is recommencing the inquiry (File No. PR-2000-018R) into the complaint received from Xwave Solutions Inc., of Stittsville, Ontario, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. W8474-9-HC02/A) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services on behalf of the Department of National Defence. The solicitation is for the supply of a security and military police information system providing occurrence management capability and computer aided dispatch, and ancillary services.
The Tribunal's determination, dated September 26, 2000, that the complaint filed by Xwave Solutions Inc. was not valid, was the subject of an application for judicial review to the Federal Court of Appeal under sections 18.1 and 28 of the Federal Court Act. On November 8, 2001, the Federal Court of Appeal remitted the matter to the Tribunal with a direction that it consider only the aspect of the complaint relating to Article 504(3) of the Agreement on Internal Trade.
