Suspension of a Registered Political Party

Notice is hereby given pursuant to subsection 390(1) of the Canada Elections Act, that the registration of the "Christian Heritage Party of Canada" has been suspended in accordance with section 385 of the Act for having failed to endorse a candidate in at least 50 electoral districts following the confirmation of nominations at the November 27, 2000 General Election. The suspension is effective as of the date of publication of the present notice.
