The City of Coquitlam hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the City of Coquitlam has deposited with the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, at Vancouver, British Columbia, and in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of New Westminster, at 88 Sixth Street, New Westminster, British Columbia, under deposit numbers BM258812 and BM260106, a description of the site and plans of a proposed single-span, four-lane bridge to replace the existing Bailey bridge over the Brunette River, at Braid Street in New Westminster, British Columbia, in front of lot number 6144, Group 1, Plan 85537.

And take notice that the project is presently being screened pursuant to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act.

APPLICATION FOR AUTHORIZATION TO EXPORT ELECTRICITY

Manitoba Hydro-Electric Board (the "Applicant"), P.O. Box 815, 820 Taylor Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2P4, hereby gives notice that it has, under Division II of Part VI of the National Energy Board Act, filed an application dated September 18, 1998, with the National Energy Board (the "Board") for authorization to export energy to the Minnkota Power Cooperative Inc. of the United States for supply to Roseau Electric Co-operative Inc. of the United States. The export will be for the period October 1, 1999, to September 30, 2004, up to a maximum of 3 megawatts.
